Course Title: Mental Health Awareness

Course Description and Purpose

This course is for any learner required to understand what is mental health and how to positively create a positive environment for good mental health. Learners will develop a skill on mental health first aid. Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, discussions and workbook activities.

Course Objectives

1. Learner's ability to execute:

• Understand what is meant by ‘mental health
• Have an understanding of some of the most common mental health problems.
• Know how to support a person with a mental health problem in the workplace.
• Understand how to promote a healthy, non-discriminatory working environment.

Award of Certification

Certificate of Participation valid for 02 years, will be awarded to learners for successfully completing the course.
